A Little Bit of Passion

I now got the cover for my latest romance, called A Little Bit of Passion, and I just have to share it with you to bring some color into your winter!

As Avalon is a family friendly publisher who doesn't go beyond a kiss, the title might make you wonder what on earth is happening here- but in fact, this romance is no deviation from the Avalon rules. The "passion" in this book refers to the way the heroine Karen lives her life - with total dedication to what she does: She's a skiing instructor in winter and sells books in her own bookstore in summer. Being a sort of "modern gypsy" suits her need for independence, until she meets a man who makes her reconsider her choices.

This novel is entirely written in the form of e-mails, as Karen writes about all her emotional turmoil to her best friend (and co-owner of the book store). It was a first for me to write a novel in this way, and I enjoyed myself like a kid in a sweet-shop. Somehow, writing in first person makes it all even more immediate. I'm glad the Avalon editors liked it and were willing to go along with this unusual concept.
